North Albania - Drita: Traveling on the river Drin / 2006 - 2008

The mountain world near the Koman reservoir is an ancient piece of Europe. The mountain dwellers board the “Drita”, a ship made of an old boat with a bus body mounted onto it. There are no moorings on the Koman-Fierze ferry route. People jump ashore with their luggage and disappear along the narrow paths in the "cursed" mountains. The "Drita" was replaced by the "Tropoja" in 2007.
